Harold L. Sirkin is senior partner of The Boston Consulting Group's Chicago Office, where he has been for the past 27 years. He is the global leader of BCG's Operations practice. Prior to this, he was the global leader for BCG's E-commerce and Information Technology practices. Hal has extensive experience across a wide range of topics and industries and across all major geographies.
Hal is the coauthor of the book, Payback: Reaping the Rewards of Innovation, named one of BusinessWeek's ten best books on innovation for 2007 and published in 2006 by Harvard Business School Press. He has also coauthored several BCG reports including:

- The New Global Challengers
- The 2008 BCG 100 New Global Challengers
Hal has authored columns for BusinessWeek Online and the New York Times Syndicate, and has authored three articles for Harvard Business Review. He also makes frequent appearances on major business television programs including: CNBC, Fox Business News, MSNBC, and CNN.
Hal earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, first in class, and a B.S. from The Wharton School, summa cum laude. He is also a CPA.
